Panorama: Reprocessing Course Content to Resync Changes from Canvas to Panorama
When and How to Use Reprocess and Refresh
Recent Panorama updates have relocated the "Reprocess" button on the Panorama report dashboard to distinguish it from the "Refresh" button.
This guide details how to find the Reprocess Course button and initiate a course content resync within Panorama, which is necessary after making changes in Canvas. Reprocessing ensures that Panorama incorporates the latest Canvas changes, thereby providing an accurate, up-to-date accessibility score.
When to Use the Reprocess Feature
Use the Reprocess function whenever a significant number of files have been deleted from Canvas. If you have only deleted one or two files, it is recommended to delete those files directly from the Panorama report instead.
How to Reprocess a Course in Panorama
Follow these steps to synchronize recent changes made in Canvas back into Panorama:
Log in to Canvas using your credentials.
In your course, click Panorama on the left navigation menu to access the Panorama dashboard.
Click the Configuration tab on the Panorama left navigation and then choose the course settings using the gear icon to navigate to Course Settings.
Scroll to the very bottom and click the red Reprocess Course button.
When to Use the Refresh Button
If you have remediated several files but notice that the overall course accessibility score has not updated, click the Refresh button located at the top of the accessibility report.
Note: The course accessibility report only updates once per day, typically at midnight.
