  • How do I build a test in McGraw Hill’s Test Builder (New)?

    McGraw Hill’s Test Builder allows instructors to build a customized exam that can be implemented in their Canvas courses. Continue reading for using the New Test Builder to build exams.

    Getting Started

    1. Log into the McGraw Hill Test Site by visiting connect.mheducation.com, and sign in with your McGraw Hill email and password.

    2. Click on the blue name of your course to open it inside the McGraw Hill site.

    3. Once you are in your course, click the Library tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

    4. In the Library Tab, click Test Builder (Print/Export)

    Building the Exam

    1. Before entering the test builder, you will see the screen below with a summary of the test builder. Please click the blue go to test builder… button to continue and begin building the exam.

    2. In the Test Builder, click the + Create New button on the top left of the page to create a new exam.

    3. You should then see that “your test is empty.” Click the teal + Add question button to begin adding questions to your exam.

    4. Before adding questions, please rename your exam to the title you’d like displayed. You can rename the exam by clicking the blue Rename text at the top left of the page.
