Read this sheet for a general overview of the services that Information Technology has available for Le Moyne students!

Learn (Canvas)

Canvas is Le Moyne’s web-based learning management system. It is used by faculty, staff, and students to access and manage courses online, digital learning materials, and communicate easily with your peers and professors!

  • View course content and announcements from your professor

  • Participate in online discussions on the discussion board

  • Participate in real-time with virtual classroom 

  • Blog and journal about class material

  • Take online quizzes and surveys

  • Track your progress and view your grades with the gradebook

  • And much more!

Collaborate

Le Moyne is a “G-Suite Campus”, meaning we use Google Apps like Gmail and Google Drive to share information and documents with other users on our network. Le Moyne uses Zoom for video collaboration and connection!

  • Google Apps (Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

  • Zoom for audio and video conferences (one-on-one or in groups)

Store

  • Google Drive: 20 GB of space

  • H: drive space: 1 GB of space available on Le Moyne’s secure network. (See our self-help guide on drives for more information.)

Present

  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite available on all campus computers

    • And dozens of other academic programs available via AJ Apps!

  • Presentation recording (including desktop, audio, and video recording
    setups) available upon request

Connect

  • Secure, high-speed wired network connection in all residences

  • Secure WiFi available across most of the campus

  • Personal device registration options through ethernet and/or the wireless Dolphin IOT network

  • Access to all online library resources from on and off-campus

  • Nearly 300 publicly accessible computers across all residence and academic buildings

  • Loan a Chromebook: Chromebooks are available at the Service Desk for personal use in the library
