Go into Canvas, and click on the course and assignment for the rubric you would like to use.
Starting at the top of the rubric, right before the first letter in either the title or the criteria, click and hold with your mouse.
As you are clicking and holding, drag your mouse all the way to the bottom of the rubric, after the final digital in the Total Points section at the bottom left of the rubric. The rubric’s text should then be highlighted in blue.
Once the rubric is highlighted blue, on your keyboard click Ctrl + P. You should then see the Print Menu open up.
Once the Print Menu is open, you will see the entire web page in a PDF printable format. We don’t need the whole Canvas page, so make sure in the print settings you have the following options selected:
Pages: All
Layout: Landscape
After the layout, you will need to open More Settings to proceed with this list
Paper size: Letter
Pages per sheet: 1
Margins: Default
Scale: Default
Options:
Headers and Footers and Background graphics are optional, this depends on your preference
Selection only should be checked, so you only see the rubric

Additionally, I did this on a windows computer, if you are using an apple product your options may display differently. The two biggest buttons I recommend finding and selecting are Layout to landscape and Selection only. Apple/Chromebook it might be phrased differently or in another option, but those are the two big ones I would try to find as you are working on this.
This format is not perfect, sometimes the title of the rubric is cut off from the body of the rubric, or the formatting looks a little weird. But, as I said above, this is unfortunately the only method I recommend. An alternative would be to “screenshot” the webpage and crop it so you only see the rubric, but if you are trying to print copies it’ll get a little tricky.
