Over the past five years, the College has made important investments in technology used to assess learning outcomes, resulting in a portfolio of tools that could make student learning assessment in your department more efficient and effective.

In partnership with Academic Affairs, the Institutional Learning Assessment Committee and Information Technology, the Academic Technology team is hosting a State of the Assessment Tools at Le Moyne College interactive presentation to be held on Monday, February 10, 2020, from 1 to 2 PM in the Muserlian Instructional Lab in the Noreen Falcone Library

The session is designed to build awareness of various technology tools that can be used for assessment, including:
  • Instructure Canvas - our learning management system, containing rubrics, quizzes and other data sources connected to assignments that can be scored and reported on by faculty evaluators

  • A suite of Watermark tools, including

    • Aqua - used for assessing bulk submissions outside of a normal course context that can be scored and reported on by faculty evaluators

    • Taskstream Accountability Management System - used by program leadership to submit annual SLA work

    • Digital Measures - used by faculty as an electronic dossier

    • EvaluationKit - used for course evaluations and surveys

    • ePortfolio (Taskstream Learning Achievement Tools) - used by program leadership to collect intentional, aligned artifacts that can be scored and reported on by faculty evaluators

  • Other potential tools that are on the horizon

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss potential implementation steps to help your team, department, division make the most of learning assessment tools.

Please RSVP for this informative event. Refreshments will be provided.
