Dr. Mounika Ragula is an Instructional Technology Designer at Le Moyne College. She has earned a PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology with Educational Technology as a specialization from Indiana State University. She currently works with faculty members at Le Moyne College in training, consulting and reviewing course development in various modalities. In addition, she oversees Document Accessibility Remediation Team, also called as DART, whose goal is to strive to improve the digital accessibility of the courses at Le Moyne. Dr. Ragula has several years of experience in the field of instructional design and instructional technology especially in online teaching, use of technological tools when teaching and designing courses, innovative instructional strategies, using open educational resources, diversity-focused curriculum development, communicating with subject matter experts, and ensuring learner engagement. As a lifelong learner, she strives to keep up with the changing technological trends in instructional design and technology integration. Her ultimate goals are to design and develop instruction that encourages learners to be lifelong learners, to contribute to active learning and provide culturally responsive education to support student engagement in both online and face-to-face environments.
